Hey All- Looking for an anchor set-up for a Ranger 619VS. Any suggestions/recommendations? My friend got a new boat this past spring and he needs to pick up an anchor or two for it. Thanks!

Might seem like a dumb question but..I have (2) 12V deep cycle batteries on board for my trolling motor. If I jump connect the Pos to Pos, and the Neg to Neg will my output be 12V or 24V? I thought if I connect both batteries together I would have equal drawdown on each. Any thoughts?

Does anyone own this book? How is it overall? I was going to buy it, but it was a bit of a sticker shock (can't remember the price, but it made me put it down). If it's worth it, I have no issue picking it up, but I wanted to get some input from some guys before I do. Thanks- Gregg

The water temperature today at around 1pm was 49-50 deg's I had as warm as 53 in my boat harbor......... I motored around out maybe 1/4 from shore at the most. OK, the topic came up while my boss was in Florida this last week-end. Some people down there seem to think that, because Mille Lacs is an inland lake, the waves can't get that big. What is the largest waves or swells that you have seen or heard of on the big lake?
