Hey All-

Looking for an anchor set-up for a Ranger 619VS.  Any suggestions/recommendations?  My friend got a new boat this past spring and he needs to pick up an anchor or two for it.  Thanks!

100-150 feet of rope with 3 feet of chain on the end attached to the 28lb navy anchor will do!!

What Bob said in 3/8" to 1/2" diameter, whatever will work best with the cleats on the boat.  That should hold in anything Mille Lacs has to throw at you.

I have that boat and I use the water spike. Less wieght and it holds it pretty well. unless its really wavy out there.

I have used this anchor for years. It was designed for Mille Lacs. I have a 3ft chain on the end and 100 ft rope. Has held me tight even in times when I should not have been out there.
