Made it out on the ice again today to find around 4 1/2 inches of good clear ice! But we do have a 30 inch crack right next to shore and another one that is about 200 yards off shore....both are open and will be moving with the temperature change that is in the forecast!

Is there anyone else out there that is having trouble getting on the bobbercam or other webcams? I installed Java again thought maybe that was the problem, but didn't help. It keeps saying there's an error and to click on details and when I do there's a page comes up with a hole lot of stuff that I don't und...

Our guide team will be out starting to check ice conditions...I will post early next week what we are finding....and will post at the end of the week as well. The lake is not locked up yet....I would say by the weekend of the 17th we should be full "fish on". Talk to you next week! Scott

I checked the ice that close to shore...oldest ice that we have. This ice measured 4 inches at 10:30am today...so it only made 1/2 inch over night. There is less ice off shore a short distance.....less, I'm not sure as I'm waiting for the 4 inches to get over 5 inches! thats my report for today!

I am cleaning out some things I have collected over the years and am selling my 10" Slush Inhale Ice scoop. It was used for one year...I have since switched to an 8" auger...so it must go. Asking price...buy me a beer at hunters! Must pick up....I live in plymouth! Thanks, Scott

I checked our oldest ice just out of the lake access today and found 3.5 inches of ice. The newest ice is out another 25 yards....I DID NOT check that ice...will make that walk another day! Need a few more single digit lows this week! Come on Ice!

When do you think the 1st person will be out on the lake ice fishing? When do you think the first house will be pulled out? Just like to see everyone's guess.

The time has come and if you have not been prepared it can be understood due to the hoilday season (BS). The ICE is awesome this time of year and all indications that it will continue at a rapid pace (Check your depth at all times) and fish with a buddy. Let someone know where you are, and where you are going...
