I seem to be missing a lot fish on my rattle wheels this year. At first I put it off to small fish. I down-sized my minnows, but I still missing too many hook-sets. I'm using #8 short shank style single hooks on most of my wheels. Anyone have advice???

Winter ice fishing tip...... If you are having some difficulty getting the hooks into your fish. You might want to look at one of these option's: - Look at replacing the trebble hook on your jigging spoon! - Also look at "up sizing" to the next trebble hook, go up from a size 8 to a size 6....
