Is it safe at all in Isle Bay, Sunset Bay or Red Door for any ice testing and measurements later this week?

Obviously, the shore ice grew dramatically fast due to the sharp change in daily temperatures but it is so hard to assess the ice safely with recent snow cover on the bay areas.

Any ice testing or safe measurements in the bays would be great information!

Maybe Chapman's will test the ice soon!

Send Bobber out there at Red Door. Only 10 feet out from shore though Bob! No ATVs yet.

Looks like the weather is going to cooperate for the rest of this week!

How much snow cover is on the lake?

I think I'll try a couple of small lakes in the cities next week.

I'm currently sitting in the basement putting new line on my reels.

There were a few fishermen out on Isle Bay late Wednesday and today with portables and either an ATV or a small snowmobile. They were right on the web cams.

There you have it....at least two fishing groups 12-14-16 on Isle Bay. Web cam confirmation at Chapman's Resort!

Antsy is the correct word. for it.

There are about ten portables in Isle Bay today. 12-16-16.

No fishing reports that I have seen or heard.
