I WALKED out to Resort Flat on Saturday.  Unfortunately, I didn't find any perch, but I did find a bunch of garbage.  The person that had their fish house on the northern tip of resort flat, left cigarette butts, wood from fish house, beer cans and a whole garbage bag full of human waste and toilet paper.  When you go to pick this up, remember to bring extra garbage bags and a shovel to pick it up.  I was embarrassed that my young daughters had to see this big mess left out on the lake.  Thanks in advance for going to clean this up!!

I have spent time out doing the late ice cleanup myself. One thing that really bends "my nail" is finding those shit bags left out on the ice also! hate to even handle them hoping they don't break open on the rig going to shore. I picked up some spots on the north end of resort flat last Friday. I must have missed the stuff you found. And I might not have gotten all of the other areas either......but I sure made a few trips with blocking and garbage that had been left behind.

Some fisherman are real slobs...........they ruin it for all others!

I think more folks should take a turn doing Adapt a high way cleanup and late lake ice cleanups!!!

we might not have as much crap left for others with it no

Now that the snow has melted and the ice has receded around where fish houses sat, the lake guys at the resorts have been picking up blocking that was frozen in the ice. Every year there is a lot of this kind of debris that was left when houses were pulled in and things besides blocking were frozen in the ice. Now that it is sitting on top of melting ice, it's very noticeable.

Even walking out to fish, I always carry a trash bag for my own trash, but if I see trash, I pick it up and throw it in my otter.

I don't just leave it there for someone else.
