i was wondering what everyone looks for in a bobber fishing spot for the evening spring rocks .......
I have always looked for about 5 to 10 foot with kind of an underwater point droping off in to deeper water with the belive that the fish will come up out of the deeper water to feet in the evening and having deeper water on 3 sides must help
Sharp breaks on points and inside turns. I like to target the bottom first then move to top if that isn't working. Or any anomaly that I have come across.
Because walleye like to ambush their prey, I usually set up where a small gulley comes up from a deeper area with plenty of rocks to hide behind. (And I'm marking fish on the bottom.)
