*** Ice Report***
We went out on the lake this morning we found 8" for the first couple hundred yards. Just past the first heave we found 2" and our guys came back in. We will wait and see what the snow does and check again before the weekend. (keep the snow away and bring on the cold weather)

***Update*** 12/6
We got 12-14 inches of snow this week and the snow tends to insulate the ice. At last check we had 8" in the harbor and 2" beyond that. Hoping that the 20 below temps we had this morning will help us gain a few more inches. We will be back out to check things again on Monday.

The guys went out today and checked ice. We found 4-7" in most places with thinner ice under the big drifts of snow. We will be working this week to stake roads and checking ice. We will give you more information tomorrow.

We are finding a pretty consistent 6" of ice on our interior roads. The guys have been outside the last 2 days in the bitter cold staking roads and checking ice. We will be back out tomorrow doing more staking and ice checking. There is still a lot of snow on the ice which makes it very tough to get around. We will update you again tomorrow in hopes of being open this weekend to snowmobiles and atvs.

I heard from the bartender they are staked out to Three Mile Reef, with minimum ice thickness 6", North Two Mile with minimum of 5" and north as far as Flamingo Reef with a minimum of 6 1/2". All roads are staked (except the flats roads). She told me the guys report 8" average snow cover.

We were out again all day staking roads. We finished staking our interior roads. Today we were coming across about 7" of ice. The lake does have about 8"-12" of snow and spots with a lot of slush. We will be open this weekend to snowmobiles and atvs, however it will be difficult to travel on the lake unless you have a sled or chains on your atv. Make sure you stop in at the bar for current lake conditions before venturing out.

We are finding about 8" of ice. However we still have a lot of snow on the lake. We are making ice but it is just a little slow process with all the snow. We are open to atvs and 4 wheelers for this weekend. We will keep you updated the best we can it has just been slow going early on.

We are still sitting on about 8" of ice but we did get a road staked out to the mud (north tip of the boot) The guys will be out again tomorrow (Monday) and try to get out a little further with trucks to plow the main road. But as for now still wheelers and snowmobiles.

***Ice Report*** I don't have a lot to report different. We are a bit over 8" of ice but we have been battling the slush. The guys have been plowing and the snowblower has been working overtime. We are still only able to let wheelers and snowmobiles. Stop into bar for directions on where slush is at.

The guys are still out trying to plow and snow blow the roads. They are finding about 9" of ice now. With the cold temps here and in the forcast we are hoping the lake starts making ice a little more rapidly. We have put out the rentals in the bay they have about 12" under them but even with that we are dealing with a lot of flooding and having to move them. The guys are working sun up to sun down trying to get the roads plowed and snow moved off. As far as the fishing goes the shacks were getting a few walleyes before the cold front came through. The last day the bite has really slowed down. We will have a new Years party tonight. With drink and great food specials including King crab, Lobster, Prime rib and Steaks.

We are pulling houses to the bay that you can drive to. There is limited space so first come first serve and you have to be here to get pulled out. Also we can pull a few house out to slys and copsville but traffic out to those houses is by wheeler or snowmobile only. Have to be here to get house pulled out.
Thank you,

It is COLD!!! The guys will be out today checking on houses and some maintenance. But due to the cold we will not be plowing the cold just makes the equipment brittle so we will be back out tomorrow morning plowing and extending our roads. Stay tuned for an update tomorrow afternoon or Wednesday morning. By then we should know more on what we will be able to do for the next weekend.

***Ice Report***
The guys made some major headway the last two days. We got some roads plowed out the north road towards flamingo where we ran into some slush areas. We also headed down the south roads towards 3 mile where we also ran into slush areas.. As of this time we still are not open to vehicle traffic. We finally got the snow off a lot of the roads and we need to give the roads a chance to heal and make more ice. We will be able to get some houses out this weekend we just don't know if we will be able to drive vehicles to all locations. I will update again tomorrow in regards to this weekend.

We will begin pulling houses today. We don't have full access to everywhere yet. The locations we can get to are as of right now Hunters Point, Sand break, Dawson, Parts of banana, Copsville,Flamingo. If you are coming up this weekend give me a call and I can get you staged. If you have a full service wheel house pass you will be able to get out as well. We won't be open to day passes till after this weekend. Please KEEP YOUR SPEEDS DOWN.

We will now be letting wheelhouse traffic out. You will more then likely as of right now have to get an area plowed out. Make sure you keep your speeds down and stop in the bar so we can point you in the right direction

The weekend is nearing. We will let wheelhouse traffic and day pass vehicles out as of right now. Most wheelhouse spots will need to be plowed. After the wind on Thursday we are suppose to have a great winter. See you all this weekend.
