So I am working at the hated place on the lake changing out media filters on the air exchangers with a factory rep from Missouri. I plan to bring my boat to work on Thursday to sneak out when we are done. I asked the guy if he liked to fish, and if he would like to come along. He's never seen a walleye in person before, but said he likes bass fishing, when I asked him. Then he asked me if there were any catfish in the lake, that he really likes that. How could you decide to eat beans and franks when there's a t bone swimming in the same water? So my plan is to try for small mouth around the shoreline rocks with intentions of making my way out to try to get this guy a walleye. I have to work Friday, so I don't want to have to venture too far out. Was hoping we could stumble across one around the segutchi flat area. Is anyone having luck with worm harnesses out there? I'm trying to keep it simple, since this guy doesn't have much experience. When in doubt, I will make sure to have a cooler of beer to keep him occupied!
