We have started to allow full-size vehicle ice access. We have between 13 and 14 inches of ice.
With the cold temps, the ice is contracting and new cracks will and are forming. We have one crack bridged a couple hundreds yards from shore. But we have a live crack north of the first mudflats that runs SE to NW, coming into Knox Point. We have not bridged any of that yet.
So, we are gradually getting houses out, hoping there is not a big change over night. Call the office for any ice updates during the day.
Don't abuse the 10 mph. speed limit on the ice. Please...
I'll forewarn the forces.........."MalmoMike is coming to town"
