How much snow did the Mille Lacs area get with the storm? North Metro got up to 16". Just wondering how the snow up that way will affect ice making? I see temps will be in the 20's for highs most of the week and low teens for lows.

Was hoping for a trip up that way this coming weekend to possibly fish the bays?

The snow cover will insulate the ice no dought....The satillite image shows the new ice on the northern areas of the lake. Alot of the older ice has a new snow cover.  The northend is really smooth......

We plan to check the lake on Wednesday out of The Red Door Resort. We will report our findings shortly there after!

The cooler weather this week is a welcome site!
