I had a call from Representative Chip Cravaack's office last week. They said this bill might get to the house floor as early as in the next two weeks!

This is good!

Yeah, I got a call from Chip Cravatt's office today with some info on where to go to get it first:

http://clerk.house.gov/

I'll also be informed by e-mail, and I'll post the results of the bill the rest of the way through.

(Finally, a guy on the job that uses his head and actually looks out for Minnesotans.)w00t.gif

Unfortunately, our Chair for THAT commitee is Denny, who is getting the bent ear from another thread for missing the DNR, GLIFWC meeting this month. Chip Cravaack is on the transportation commitee.

Chip Cravaack's commitees:

He currently sits on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the Homeland Security Committee and the Science, Technology and Space Committee.

Thanks Fishnpole,

You are quite correct as usual smilesmile

Denny McNamara is the Representative assigned to DNR meetings and projects. Officially he is listed as follows:

Representative Denny McNamara

Dist.57B

Chair of the Committee on Environment, Energy

and Natural Resources Policy and Finance

FYI, Denny McNamara, of the Minnesota House, has stated in writing to me that he will NOT be missing any other DNR ~ Tribal meetings (like this recent troublesome matter on July 26th).

He has also promised to communicate with me on each event and I will post any relevant information immediately. It will probably be in the other thread that you have mentioned.

I am also communicating with the following folks who have responded to me positively.:

Rep. Sondra Erickson       State Representative (R), District 16A

Rep. Carolyn McElfatrick State Representative (R), District 3B

Go here to look up any Minnesota Legislator and their Assignments:

http://www.house.leg.state.mn.us/members/members.asp?id=10168

Thanks, MM

This Chip Cravaack seems like a guy us fish/hunters should be behind tochampion the whole netting/gathering fiasco, that is outdated.
