Is Mille Lacs' next 5-year plan going to be similar? If it is, the pure walleye strain will be no more. It consists of stocking the lake with 7.5 to 22.5 million  fry from elsewhere.

It'll be a shame that one of our world's greatest fisheries will no longer hold a pure strain solely because it will no longer be considered sustainable.
