This is from the Red Door on the north end. I know you asked for east side but it's something.

March 9th

We have our access open to perch and tullibees!!! We have roads plowed out to the 28 toot break east and west of the Red Door Resort. We also have a road plowed out to the Bumps north of East Flat. Don't for get that The Waypoint Cafe is open and stop in and enjoy a hot meal !

Off Hunters Point Facebook page from Wednesday 3/7

Nitti's Hunters Point Resort

Ice update 3-7-12 Currently the roads are holding up. Our roads are to known perch areas within the internal structures and transition areas. The perch report good! Drill alot of holes to be able to move with the fish...red euro larve is the bait of choice. The Tony Roach Perch School is this weekend and we have a handful of openings available. Hope to see you all soon!

I was out yesterday. Most of the holes I got around 20"-24". The lowest I got was 15". The quality of the ice, however is starting to deteriorate with the warmer temps. There's alot of water on the ice. Getting around on wheelers is getting easier, though. Went out to the flats, but the bite wasn't happenin'. The perch are biting best at 28'-26', but they're on the move, so ya gotta move around. Did best on mud-sand transition areas, where there are hatching helgamites. The bait of choice has been waxies/eurolarvae. Didn't have any bites at all on minnows.
