I get to come up at all this weekend it will be fridaynight. I have to be back in Mora by 1130 saturday morning for hockey. Anyone know what would be better for the night bite? Out in the mud or staying in close? I might bring my youngest boy if Momma lets me.
Just a quick note to let everyone know this road map is no longer valid. The Ice cracks and heavy traffic have forced Hunter's to alt-route many of the roads.
MAKE SURE YOU CHECK-IN BEFORE YOU HEAD OUT, EVEN IF YOU WERE OUT DURING THE PAST 2-3 DAYS!
ALSO 10MPH IS MANDITORY TO MAINTAIN THE EXISTING ROADS.
**Ice Update** 2-14-12 1:00 p.m. The roads for the interior structures will remain open and maintained! In the interest of safety and the warm weather forecast, we are closing all roads leading to and on the flats for the remainder of the season. IF you have a house out on the flats, and a contract with us, please ...make arrangements as soon as possible to retrieve your house and move it to an interior structure. The Hunters Point Perch & Pout Tournament this weekend will go on as planned, as will the Perch Extravaganza on February 25th! We would like to thank everyone for their continued patience and patronage…it is much appreciated!
**ICE ROADS UPDATE** 2-16-12 We are re-working the interior roads today and also working on re-opening the roads to the flats! All roads now open. We do require ALL wheel houses OFF the ice at the end of your trip. DO NOT leave the wheel houses out on the flats with the potential of changing ice conditions…Again, at this point, the roads to the flats again…hats off to the lake guys, THEY OUT DID THEMSELVES AGAIN, way to go guys!. PLEASE ALL VEHICLES are asked to go slow,10 mph max With YOUR HELP with slow speeds we hope to keep them open the rest of the season! Also a side note, IF you are done for the season with your skid house please notify us so we can pull it off...thanks scott
