I arived at J.R.s Resort at 6am Friday morning to be greated by -18 and windy,drove the wheeler out about a half mile, found 9 inches of ice,set up in 8 ft of water,fishing was good in the mornings and evenings pretty slow during mid day,caught our limit plus a 41 inch northern,boy what a fight took a few pic and releaced him. Sat was quite warmer bite was the same, jigging outfished the deadstick by 3 to 1, packed up sun morning. was a great trip, but cant wait get out on Mille Lacs, hope to see everyone up there soon
Hey there, sandman! Glad you're gettin' a few. Haven't seen you since the water was softer, but glad you're catching some fish up there and hope you remember the invite to our hardhouse .
i will have my company up there soon to rent a few fish houses,i myself am going to be up there much sooner, maybe tuesday or wed, to spend a night or too in my portable, hopeing to get to the mud asap. but the ice condition report says that will have to wait
