Displaying the dark house tag?

The dark house tag comes in two halfs. The top half says display the whole tag. This seem redundent. The bottom half also shows alot of personal information which I would preferr not to display.

In the past, before I actually read the tag, I displayed the top and kept the bottom half in the house.

I have checked the DNR regulation book and it doesn't address what has to be displayed.

That is my question. Does the top half or the top and bottom half required to be displayed?

Well, I contacted DNR. I was advised that the upper half of the tag gets displayed and the lower half that you sign, and has personal information on it, you keep in your possession.

Thanks for clearing that up.  Thought someone would have responded to you, but I did not have an answer.

DNR must have had the same problem. The first two I talked with gave me the above permit info, but didn't know for sure and referred me to another. The third person confirmed the top half only for display.

Don't tell anyone but I have lights on mine also! biggrin
