Start by saying with the great weather we have been having that I personally havent got out there this week. But I talk and listen. The water has warmed up to the low to mid 50's and the keeper fish have showed up in better numbers. Mornings and evenings have been the best bite in the rocks and some of the inner structure around the lake. The northend bite (sand) has been going pretty steady throughout the day. A little wind has been a key helper. With the warmer water the blade bite should startup soon also. Watched lastnight the 10pm hour creep up and most of the boats out there held until the last minutes to get off the lake. With the traffic out there this weekend allow yourself time to get to the access in a safe manner. As always Roach Guides has posted the updated weekly podcast so take a listen and everyone have a fun and safe Holiday weekend.
If you haven't taken a look at the C.A.S.S.T website and helped out yet we would really appreciate your consideration on this. The time is drawing near.
Did fairly well out of Malmo yesterday, bunch of 19-24 inchers with 5 box fish.. Lots of boats out & wondered how many of these people know about Steves case.. If somehow- these people could be educated, Steves attorney fees would get covered- easily hundreds of people on the NE end alone yesterday.
Way to go Doug; Way to go Nancy!! It must have been the Walleye Finder Doggie?
Have fun, Malmo Mike is coming home soon. Keep Nancy outta trouble too. Please tell her to try a good sized sample of the Amaretto De Serona on Malmo!!! (on the rocks for sipping!)
This weekend has been great with some really nice walleyes being caught. Here's one 28 and a half that Scott here caught on the launch from Hunter's Point Sunday morning.
no threat of stealing your hollywood career... we kept 3 nice slots.... Pam caught perch, Doug 2 walleye for the box, 2 overs, I put one in the box and one over released and a few perch and 3 rock bass.... the beer was cold and the action was hot !!! A few boats around us were waving nets too !!!
