I looking to learn how to troll leadcore.  I need input on crankbait size, brand and color that  works best on the big pond?

I don't pull cranks (too lazy)no but I have heard Clown colors, Hammered Gold and Perch colored work well.

Size will vary on the fish, anywhere from #5 up to 11's for me in the summer moths. I like using Tail Dancers in the colors Glen mentioned and throw in Blue chrome color. Love pulling Cranks out there in July, August.

It all depends on where you are trolling and when. I like the small deep diving Reef Runners on the flats and #5 shad raps in 12' or shallower during the day. #11 floating rapala at night.

That is great advice muskieMike....I have had good success with floating rapalas in 10-12 feet of water trolling in early evening in Agate bay especially. Way to go.

Walleye Wanda is tipping westward slightly in spite of those 36DD boobs. I will have to get her sun tan oil! HA!

My all-time favorite is the original Rapala silver minnow. If I could only have one crankbait, that would be it. (Good stickbait! Blue is good, too.) Try to stay at 10' and 2mph from Agate reef to Red Door.)

Lazy Ike would be my second. (Still don't know why they quit makin' those...)
