Cancelled April 16 and April 17, 2011 MTT Events Unfortunately due to Spring flooding and a second crest due on the Mississippi River, the MTT is forced to cancel the April 16 and 17, 2011 tournaments in Red Wing for the safety of our anglers. All parks are closed and no one is sure when they will again be opened and ready to go.
All contestants who have submitted entry fees to date will be notified and given a chance to transfer or get their entry fees refunded. In the next several days, we will attempt to contact the captain from each team. If you want to call us at 320-679-2825 during business hours, feel free to do so. All transfers and refunds will be handled over the telephone, not by email. Thank You for your understanding and we will see you on the Trail in 2011.
We have been waiting to hear this. We have been fishing pool 4 since the last weeknd in Feb. and the fishing was really turning on till the water level got to flood stage a couple weeks ago. The water level did drop a little over the past week but now is on the rise again. I will be down there chasing again this weekend!
I know everyone is ready for some compitition fishing, but safety needs to come 1st, not mention our equipment.
On a more selfish note, I have to have surgery on my hands next Monday at Mayo, and was going to have to leave Randyeye without a partner which would have left me crying in my milk (or across the formica flats)
We don't participate @ Big Stone so see everyone at 1st Hunters event.
