The North Ramp at Hunters Point Resort is plowed open out to the junction for the north rd, 3 mile rd and main rd approx 1/4 mile out. Road is not plowed form there. The access has some standing water on the ice about the first 50 ft. Reccomend 4 wheelers and snowmobiles. You wont have any trouble getting around out there. Perch reports have been scarce. Not many people have been out. No access fee's are being charged being the plowing is done for the season.
Thanks for the update. I was up on Sunday and we got into a bunch of perch again. On the West side the ice was in great condition. There are a few drifts that are 6-8 inches deep, so keep on the gas with the 4 wheeler. Bring the sun screen!

I was also up there Sun-Mon but on the east side 20-30 f.o.w. We where able pull about 30 perch and kept 12 of them. We did not bring the sun screen!!!
Was out last Sunday outside of Sunset Beach, caught lots of small males all day long. However my son went about a mile south of Doe Island and caught some really nice jumbos after 4:30 pm. Heard it was a late bite on several parts of the lake on Sunday all the way up til 7:30.
ATV would be the way to go. The conditions on the water near the shoreline could be a little iffy by Saturday and maybe the snow on the lake also. Right now it's still passable but Saturday is out a few days and it will change.
Yeah, Doug's right. I f you have a wheeler (or snowmobile as of Thursday night) that would be my choice. The low pressure system is makin' 'em bite. Saturday we're going back out. No problem with 50 degree weather, here.............
Perch are going out on the flats in 32' to 34' where ever you can find a bug hatch. Big Bro's Bloodworms by Northland with the teaser tails and 3 waxies are doing good.
(If you like 1 1/2 pound crappies, they're going in the southern bays right now!)
Just came in off the ice. It's starting to get pretty sloppy now we were driving through 6'' of slush and water. If it rains tomorrow, it'll start sinking the ice (which is still 30" thick) and it'll start to honeycomb. After that, it's about 3 weeks at 50 degrees before it'll be breaking up. (Depending on the wind!)
