I don't know if it's the fact while hear at work I walk by mine and my brothers boats all day long, or if it's the weather guro's talking really nice weather around the corner, but it's got me thinking way ahead.
I started looking at my Walleye tournament shcedule and started wondering when the dates might be available for the Hunters point tourny?
Last year we signed up for most of the MTT's + wacker and was forced to eliminate Hunters before it was even announced.
I'm trying to be more patient as this spring comes upon us, but also know me and want to weigh all my options before deciding this spring.

Love the hard water season, but really looking forward to moving on to the warmth.

Be well all

I think this winter has alot of people thinking your way... I for one always loved winter.... I am thinking enough already.... a few weekends on the ice in nice weather, perching and bring on the thaw. That's one nice thing about living in MN, we truely have 4 seasons !!!

Its never too early to start thinking about summer fishing, especially the tournament season.  I've already sent in entry fees for a few and have my vacation requests in for 15 days so far in 2011.

If I were to guess, I would say the Hunter's Point tournament will be June 24th and 25th.

That would be my guess too FIFE. Got MTT 6/4 & 6/4 onMille lacs, Wacker 6/9 & 6/10 and then MTT again on Winnie 6/18 & 6/19.
If it falls on the 24th & 25th it will be nicely &  startigically placed so I can fish em all.
Enjoy the upcoming warmth all!!!
