Great stuff Bobber !!!!!!! Love the swing and a miss......don't feel bad we've all been there , especially early in the season. Nothing better than hearing the hiss of the heater and having a bar on the flasher come up for a tug. Maybe you can install a fishtrap cam wink.......can't wait to get up there, see you on the ice, sculpin.

Great stuff, Bobber,
One swing on an inside pitch --
then a Home Run with a keeper pretty much.
biggrin
Nice job and good video.
Hey, I could be your film man one evening with my SONY digital camcorder?
Keep your hands free...Nice walleye and in the slot as we say.

Questions form Malmo Mike:
I have walleye fever pretty bad... so...
1 . Are you fishing in a Clam portable?
2. I have aBottom Line portable Fishing Buddie Sonar that provides an LED screen flasher pattern or the structure imaging...is the flasher type image best in this case as with Vexilar?
Those look like St Croix rods perhaps...or a Dave Genz like mine...
3. What is your preferred ice line if I may ask please?
    Northland Ice? 6# test?
4. Are you using a 1/8 oz or 1/4 oz lure with a minnow head as in your 12/15/10 report?

Great fishing...thanks Malmo Mike
Cool way Cool.

1 . Are you fishing in a Clam portable? I use Otter Portables!
2. I have aBottom Line portable Fishing Buddie Sonar that provides an LED screen flasher pattern or the structure imaging...is the flasher type image best in this case as with Vexilar? I prefer a flasher..it allows you to see both the bottom and the fish movement in real time.
Those look like St Croix rods perhaps...or a Dave Genz like mine...The rod/reel combos are Cabelas brand Fish Eagles
3. What is your preferred ice line if I may ask please?
Northland Ice? 6# test? I use 6lb trilene XL
4. Are you using a 1/8 oz or 1/4 oz lure with a minnow head as in your 12/15/10 report? in the video I had on a 1/4 oz spoon

Great fishing...thanks Malmo Mike

Thanks Bobber, for your excellent replies and advice.
That is a nice group oif walleyes for sure.
When I am back home visiting and fishing, I hope to book a guided fishing experience with you to continue to improve my knowledge.
It is a great fishing video  and it is appreciated.
I am using both Dave Genz and St Croix 28" light action ice fishing rigs, 6#XL line and similar 1/8 or 1/4 spoons..so I am getting there.
It looks like a very promising -- early hard water bite.
Tat2Jonnie seems to think so too.
Take care,
Malmo Mike
