Headed up to Hunters for a three day trip. Looking for some insight on what baits I should pick up prior to heading up. Have been looking at jigging spoons but have not used them much in the past, usually target panfish in the winter. What does a guy need to have a shot at some fish.
We have ten guys coming up staying in one of the big sleeper shacks.
Last year we had alot of success in the small Macho Minnow. The all gold, or hot perch colors. Buckshots and forage minnows in gold or silver colors have been good if the fish are negative/neutral. Minnow heads for jigs....keep some set lines ready with shiners too! Good luck!
