Same here Rickster, Girlfriend of many years now planned a camping trip with other family members and I'm stuck home with the two old dogs. I shouldn't complain, I fished all 4 at Hunters, + wacker & she plans her trips somewhat to accomadate all of mine. Trying to figure away to get someone to help me out so at least I could maybe do the 1 day shootout, but my instincts tell me that might not make her so happy. DOGS COME 1ST around our house, then me and my fishing. Good luck to all already there or headed that way.
You got that right Bob, on the winds! We were camped like 40 miles NE of Winnie and the thunderstorm that came through brought high winds...down trees everywhere..we even had to move some to drive down a road! I was glad when I heard the weather report that it wasn't a tourney day on Winnie!
