I am kind of new to the whole tech no revolution. I have been aware of the netting and frustrated with it. But OMG! Now that I can see from Bobbers front door the haul in such a small area in such a small amount of time......I got naucious....sick to my stomach.

It's sad to see that a people that supposedly Loved the Land, would treat it and it's resources in such a way. That video has nothing to do with tradition... how dumb do they think people are.... just shows a what a gluten is.....
I remember fishing in Kenya for large mouth bass that had been stocked by Teddy Roosevelt back in the time he was in Africa. I used the radin rap and was using the catch and release method. The Hippos would come to the boat and we would move. What does this have to do with Mille Lacs? Mille Lacs is a great resource for the sportsman and woman. The fishery has a potentiential of giving the local businessess the everlasting power to bring people to the fishery and have an opportunity to catch a nice size walleye. Due to the Treaty we all must conform to the standards and abide by the rules. Having served in the United States Marine Corps and the United States Army in Iraq, I have an understanding for following the rules and regulations. The treaty is being abused by the members of the nation. Shame on them. My goal is to enjoy the fishery and take what the law will allow and release everything else, so it my prosper. (If you net and you are hungry, I am with you, If you net to spite, you are wrong!
I don't even fish any of these waters that this netting is happening on and it still turns my stomach to watch it. I can't imagine living on the lake or area and seeing it actually happening on my front door step every day.
I agree with Glenn regarding their suppose love of the earth and then they rape it like this Shame on them.
Also signed the petition in the other thread to try and stop it. The year is 2010 not the 1800's.
