We are thinking of heading up to the lake for the weekend - wanting to go out to the mud flats, how was the bite out there this past weekend? got a wheel house, are they letting those out to the flats?
how much ice is out there?

lots of wheelhouses out on the flats. Hunters roads are in great shape. 15-20 inches of ice everywhere I was at. The bite was off a bit with the cold.

ice is thick and getting thicker. we had a cold time out on the flats but did get a few fish.
like said, the roads are excellent.
