There has been lots of pictures and reports this week. As you can see by the fish photos, they are still biting. The guide team spent alot of time on the ice since my last report. We have been finding walleyes out on the mud flats, deep gravel bars and rock piles. There has been a real nice mix of keepers and big fish on each trip.
Last week it didn't seem to matter what size jig you had on as long as you continued to jig it. This week we have noticed that certain days the fish DID show favorites for certain size spoons. Don't be afraid if you are marking fish and not getting them to bite, try to up or down size.
Before the snow last night we were able to go anywhere on the lake with ATV/Snowmobile. We will be out guiding this weekend and will try and post some info on the ice condition this weekend. As always us caution out on the lake. If the snow covers up all those ice shelves and heaves it could be hazardous to your ATV/Snowmobile out there not being able to see them.
Tony will have a new report on his podcast with some more details.
If your not seeing them, keep moving. Hope to see you on the ice!
