I made it out Sat only and had caught a half dozen or so eyes and a nice Northern that swallowed my crankbait! The biggest eye of the day was 27 1/4" FAT HOG! We were pulling shads and taildancer on lead core and mono set-ups. Fishing in 21-24 fow. It was a decent weekend and am looking forward to next weekend to finish the year with a bang! We got out Saturday Oct-3rd - nice chop for the shallow rocks 5' fow w/ leech and cork 5-9pm done with 8 in da boat! Bite was nice - dont forget the shallow rocks! Jim
I know of a group of six that corked on the north end on Saturday afternoon until dusk and boated 20 slots. Guess I should have fished instead of chasing ducks...
