What is the "SPECIAL" number that you guys are looking for when the Fall "SHALLOW WATER" trolling bit start heating up?
I hear you all talking about it and dont often get a chance to head out this time of year but this year its on!
I got a handfull of some nice eye's and a hog this past weekend on the Northend! Ive notice the move toward the shallows and am too looking forward to it this weekend!!

I don't have a magical number....something in the upper 50's normally will tell me to get out in the boat and do some trolling.....if the Twins were'nt on and in this must win deal....I might head out tonite...I'll wait till later in the week!!!
It's really close to the go time!! in my mind..........
Couple days either side of the full moon with water temps mid to low 50's is go time like Bobber said. Add in a consistent breeze from the same direction for 2-3 days would really help. Years where this sets up a little later in October seem to be better than these early full moons. The Nov FM will probably be excellent too!
