I was playing with my camera this afternoon and I'm wondering what the white thing is that looks like a phone at about two-thirds through the video.  Any ideas?

with the long string coming from it I was thinking a whistle that some boaters use if they don't have a functional horn?   Also looked like a spool of something earlier in video?

Definitely aspool in the first part, then I would venture to guess a weight of some sort..... maybe for holding down a net.....no that broke loose.....disbelief that would be the line coming off it that is suppose to attach the net.....furious ???

Looks like the lead weight that holds down a marker bouy.
