Well, last night I was out fishing with Mega Superstar guides Big D and G man and they put me on the spot at around 6:30 pm.  Not even five minutes into the journey I had my first walleye.  We ended up catching many, many eyes and a few perch.  This includes the biggest walleye I have ever caught.  It was the best time ever on Mille Lacs!!!  I am not at liberty to disclose the location of the bite but it was amazing!  Thanks guys!

We caught our fish once again in the rocks 12ft to 17ft on bobber rigs with plain red hooks. The water has heated up pretty good the last week. We had 63 degrees Saturday night. Not much for bugs out there for us that night. More perch showing up now in the rocks with mostly smaller fish in the numbers. The ocassional larger fish are there as seen with Blakes 25.5 he reeled in like a pro. It would have been a ideal night for a longer stay in the boat but Glen and I had a birthday party that afternoon with some work at the cabin in the morning so it was a pretty long day, we where in by 10:30. The bite is really good and with the water heating and the bug hatches the fish should get  more active. Now is the time to hit the lake as the fishing doesn't get much than it is now. Good luck and let us know how you do.

Looks like I missed out on a good bite. I got to get out one of these days and try that night bite again.

the walleye are still hungry, at night under the full moon, caught 34 with 14 keepers in to nights, jumbos under boobers on plain red hooks.
