May is gone and so are most of the fish in the spawning areas. Fish have started the journey to the summer hang outs. Fish can still be caught in the rocks bobber fishing in the evenings in 8-15ft (by far your best bet). For day conditions, especially a windy day with clouds, fishing the downside wind of some of the rock piles will get you some fish if you can find them. Most of the fish in those areas have been the smaller males from what I have seen. This will be pretty much be the spot on the spot thing. So give it 10-15 minutes if nothing, move around and find the feeders. Rigging the transitions in the 20-25ft of water has been pretty popular for most out there now. Fish are scattered around pretty good right now, so watching and trusting your electronics is a pretty good plan. find'em and fish them. The water temp was around the 58-60 degree mark. Soon the mayflies will hatch and the fish will be moving and feeding well. The lake pretty much opens up to lots of areas to fish by mid June, with new techniques and game plans. So get out there and start tracking them down.
Good luck and report back.
