BOAT REQUIREMENTS

All boats must meet Coast Guard and State requirements. Motors may not exceed BIA rating established by the manufacturer. All boats must have an aerated livewell large enough to sustain the limit of fish in releasable condition. All boats are required to carry a minimum of $100,000 of liability insurance.
NEW FOR 2009 SEASON: No boats over 24feet. ALL boats are required to have a Marine Band Radio (Permanent Mount or Hand Held).

I didn't see any of the boats that are fishing in the tournament on the web cam this morning.  Did they launch out of the north or west side due to the wind?  If so, is the weigh-in still at Hunters?

I am watching the webcam too, wondering if they delayed take off?  It is really a fierce wind this am up here.  Guess I will wait and see if my son comes home soon if they call the tourney?  They don't usually do it for wind do they?

Weigh in is at Hunters.  They would also take off out of there, if they are allowing it.

My sons boat is back at the cabin.  As a mom, I am so grateful!  haven't talked to him but I assume tourney is cancelled for today.

It sounds like the tourney is on hold for now.  They are shooting for a 12:00 noon start.  If the wind holds like this, it will probably be cancelled all together.
