Fished Saturday 6am-1pm and we boated approx 12 fish with 4 being slots. Most where 20+. Saturday night we got blown off the lake but we did get 5 20+ again. Sunday we fished 7am-1:00 again and had 6 fish all 20+, one being a 26" that I bet weighed near 8lbs. Overall very good fishing for us.
We did alright. We got out around 6:30am on Saturday morning and fished until around 2pm. We boated 1 keeper. Then we headed back out around 6pm and fished until 10:30pm. It was tough conditions, but we managed 4 keepers, and 2 others that were 22" and 20". They were nice and fat...real nice fish.
We took one look at our soaking clothes from the night before on Sunday morning, and then saw the wind coming in from the west...we said the heck with it. We'll be back up in a week or so to give it another shot.
yeah i think in the whole group we got 6 slot fish... i wouldnt say great, but heck at least i wasnt at hm.... lol
Talk about some kinda wind though saturday night... we mad it out of the channel and dropped our jaws.... couldnt beleive how windy it actually was!!! and to top it off, my buddy has got one of them 6 point rock anchors, and they dnt hold worth a darn up on them rocks :(
