Hi everyone
I haven't been up there in a while but i have heard some things. Is all the ice going to be off the lake by opener? Some people say yes, and some say no.

Have fun on the lake

I am soooo ready for the opener, whether the fish are biting or not, does it really matter we re fishing on open water. As a wise man once said "I would rather be lost on the lake then found at home".

So have the fish moved in to spawn yet? I would love it if bobber cam had a lake temp on it. It will be nict to see some loons on the lake again.

My undrstanding is that the spawn is pretty much done. Walleyes will spawn under the cover of ice, or upstream when the water is flowing into a partially ice free shore line. This is good as the ice cover protects them from predators, etc.
