I know its early but, time to start thinking about it. What's everyones take on the opener.? Will the Walleyes be bitting or will there still be too much Bait fish for them to forage on. ?
I like the 18-28 protected. I thought it was going to be tighter after reading about last falls netting results and what is allocated this year for weight. I think the fishing on opener will be like other years meaning water temp will play a big factor as well as the ton of forage we dealt with all winter. Regardless, I am looking forward to the open water also. Couple more weekends of chasing perch and it's time to get the boat ready.

I think there will be some hungry fish. I also think there is gonna be alot of very FAT fish. It will be interesting to see how the upcoming season goes.
