I took a look at the DNR website and everything I seen said 2/28.

2007 Fishing Regulations pdf (1.5 MB)
Effective March 1, 2007 - February 28, 2008

Where is the 4/30 coming from? It must be listed somewhere.

Oh.... OH.....~!~~~ Can I guess too? Is this a contest?

Seriously, our friendly fish management doesn't make this TOO easy on anyone. My guess.... don't be fishing after the 29th this year. Should anyone see one of our green suited representatives, please ask them to explain and post their response here with their badge number on it!  We'd all appreciate that.

(Every year, there is something weird to learn.)

See you when the ice goes out on May 3~~

just received an email confirming april 30th as the date that the 2007 fishing licenses expire. however the fishing seasons do remain the same with walleye, northern and large and smallmouth closing at midnight of the 24th.

Sorry,

I didn't see this until today. I am sorry I hadn't responded back sooner.

I have been on the road with some of the resorts that are working with me with our park models this coming year. I just haven't been on here since my report.

I got this info about the fishing licenses from a conservation officer and a resort owner up in the Ottertail County on Monday so I thought I would share this info with all of you. I thought it would be good info!

Have fun this weekend & good luck fishing!
