we are tossing around the idea of maybe using a guide when we come up in feburary has anyone used or can anybody recommend one? thanks we have a big house rented but might want to move around and be mobile dont want to haul all our portables along with and or four wheelers unless they are absolutly necessary if anyone has any info, comments or opinions lets hear them. thanks scott
Our own Bob "Bobber" Carlson is a very good guide, I have heard. I have not personally used him (yet), but I have heard some great reports from others. He does his best to get you on fish, and have fun at the same time. He is under the guide link on this site. He may even respond to your post!
5 hours and Bobber hasn't replied yet? He must still be fishing or planning where hes going tomorrow. Give him a call and he'll get you guys on some fish. You might want to take a look at the SnoBear trips too.

Bob Carlson "Bobber Bob" would be a great choice! Bob has many years on Mille Lacs and is as experienced as anyone on this lake. Not to mention you'll have fun with Bob! And thats always the number one goal when going fishing.
Isn't Bobber just a Mille Lacs Lake Taxi Driver? That's all he does is drive around and wave at people! (Just Kidding Bob... I've heard nothing but great things about you and plan to use you as soon as I get time off!)
