Well did anyone do any better then I. Went out Saturday morning and fished the mud flats, Constantly marked small fish on the vex but nothing would bite. Moved around and ran into a lot of slush which was pretty scary, the ole 4 Wheeler made it thru thou.
I had a half day trip on Saturday and also found it really slow. We managed to catch only three walleye in the am. The good thing was that one of them was a dandy just over 27 inches!!! Attached is a photo of Randy with his fish
i also was out on saturday on the south east three mile. fishin was sucky only caught one jumbo and a 12 inch gobble eye. hit some really bad slush with the quad also. i dont quite trust the ice enough to drive my duramax out to where i wanna go. seems kinda chancy to me.
Was up to the big pond Thursday through Sunday between 6 guys we caught maybee 15 walleyes. We fished the mud the first two days saw a ton of walleye on the camera's and locators but they just wouldnt bite. We ended up with a 27" and a 25" for big fish the rest were 5-13 inchers. Just to many little perch to eat. We stayed in a cabin at Hunters Point and hats off to them. After staying at another resort on Millacs for the past few years Hunters Point blew them away. Way to go George and your crew!!!
We fished Saturday most of the day and Sunday 7-2 or so. We where looking for jumbos and it was a little work but we stayed after it and did get into some. I will share a few pictures from the days and if you want to read a full blown detailed report on how it all went down, read Matt's report on idofishing. http://www.idofishing.com/forum/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/621330
