I can pretty much guarantee you that George didn't shimmy up the pole to clear the lens.
Either the temp in the camera housing got warm enough to dry to up, or the sun hitting it cleared it up. Or....Maybe Fat Albert was out breathing on it? I read somewhere that works to.

This is what it looked like when they were clearing off the bobber cam , Wow....that snow sure has melted fast. ,
