Fellow Walleye Slayers, was up on Sat. and came back from fishing all day and someone had stolen my trailer right off the truck in Hunters parking lot on land, if anybody saw anything suspicious on Sat. lemme know or let George know, my truck was a silver 4 door with no topper, fishing was O.K had 3 in 22ft. but really had to work for those, if I can say anything better lock your your trailer !! and if the guy who stole it is looking for the spare, give me a call !!!
this really pisses me off! first of all im sorry that u lost your trailer.. but this is a damn shame we are all sportsman and whay can we not trust one another? i was on the lake allday myself but maybe if u give a little more info somone will be able to identify seeing somthing when they where loading or unloading there own gear. where u parked on the ice or by the bathrooms outside are? what kind of trailer was it?
the trailer was a 2 place Eagle Trailer w/ custom black salt shield on the front, I was parked in the parking lot on shore in the N.E Corner by the rental cabins, not far from the bar, as a tournament angler on this lake and as much time I spend on the lake, yes it,s a bummer !! the respect I have for the local community and the business,s that are trying to stay afloat in these times sure doesn't help when you have people such as these that may ruin it for these people trying to feed there familys up there, but it's our duty as sportsman to look out for us ( fisherman ) and the resort owners to make sure this won't happen on our watch !! George, myself & Sheriffs Dept are looking for these guys, as I said before if you need the spare tire for the trailer give me a call.
Last summer, I had parts from my boat trailer stolen from the Parking lot there. I just can't believe the nerve of people who would do this sort of thing.
Sorry to hear abot the trailer scott. I will sure keep my ears and eyes open .as much as a guy thinks the next guy is as honest as you unfortunetly that never seems to be the case.weve had stuff stolen right off our house and out of coolers and fridgerators. That sort of stuff you expect to happen at home in the cities not at the lake.
last summer we had a cooler stolen as well. was some punk kid with an 80's camero i think. was right on the step of the fish house. i wish i had some info for u about your trailer but hopefully somone will get enough info and remember seeing somthing.
Walleywarrior: I'd be willing to bet that whoever stole Scotts trailer isn't a sportsman. Sportsman respect other sportsmans property. This is some barf bag who needs the **censored** kicked out of him, when I was on the street (man in blue) we called it street justice, cause sure as hell the courts weren't going to do anything. Good luck all and hang on. Bill
i would have to guess that you are probably right. ive had my house at hunters for 3 years now and everyone has been great. we all get along well and have no problems. i hope this low life gets what he desrves. probably some punk kid who was never taught respect, or has parent who dont give a crap about them and what they do.
