First thing. We will be plowing some of the roads to make travel easier. There will be ONLY ATV and Snowmobile traffic for the weekend. The paths currently staked have not changed. We will update here the Ice after our morning checks today. Fish on the rocks have been pretty slow. The Mud shows lots of baitfish, but the waiting game pays off with flurries through out the day. Please STAY AWAY from the south end of the boot. There is a large crack and it is flooded.
Updated- There are a few cracks out there. The cracks will be bridged on our staked trails. Be aware of these if you are cutting cross country (not advised). there is a large crack near the southend of the Boot is 4.7 miles out from shore. The lake guys are in the process of bridging this crack on the staked road.
