I haven't seen flooding on the east side near Big Point like this in 33 years Ive been                                            coming up and fishing! Looked like about three quarters of the wharf was under water,                                     but it was built on swamp land.

FYI,

At Malmo Bay, we had to raise our dock level 3 vertical feet after last weeks 7 inch rainfall event. Otherwise high waves can dislodge or twist the dock frames. Fortunately our roll in dock accommodated this but that is a considerable rise in the water levels.

I would imagine Corps of Engineers will open the dam on the southwest side to release some of this into the Rum River system.

At Hunter's Point Marina today, I see the water levels are right up to the bottom of the marina docks. WOW.

Have fun,

Malmo Mike
