North Metro has seen about 5" as well. Just hope this does not hurt the ice too much!! Deep freeze coming up will certainly help but would have been nice without all of the snow!!

Hi guys, I'm just off the north end of Mille Lacs and measured 14" of compressed snow on my deck this morning. There has to be a lot of lake flooding going on.

Check out all the flooding that we've got over by the culvert at Reddick Creek! Look at the first heave on the Red Door webcam. It looks like the ice is sinking right there.

Probably the best thing that can happen to the lake right now is that all the ice sinks, so the snow melts in the water and refreezes.

Hopefully the snow is done for awhile................
