The fishing report for the October full moon is shaping up! The weather will bring a chance of rain showers and managable winds to the northend of the lake. The water temperature has now reached the lower 50's. The walleye are starting to show up along the shallow breaklines out front of the resort. Trolling the weeds with shallow running minnow baits have been putting a few fish in the boat. While some fisherman are catching fish on shad raps also. Varying your speed has triggered the fish. The success has improved in the fish cleaning shack also! This has been a change with the cooler water temperatures. Some fisherman have been rigging minnows out on the outside breakline in in 26-28 fow having some success. While others are trolling leadcore during the day in the same areas picking up a few fish.
