Going up and going to try some leadcore fishing. Anybody been out lately with this working in their bag o tricks?

My wife and I were up last weekend. The leadcore bite picked up when the wind stopped blowing Saturday; more of a boat control thing. We ended up catching 13; 2 keepers. 3 ½ to 4 colors with silver blue and glass purple #5 Shad Raps worked best for us. Good luck!
