Ok, I plan on heading to the lake tomorrow. Havent been there since before the rain and warm temps. Just currious as to what you guys are using to bank your houses. My plans were to use 2" styrofoam between the skids and then some small strips of plywood as skirting along the skids....If anyone has other suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated!!

Can't wait to hear some ideas on this myself. I have a wheelhouse. Thinking about just tossing snow from my yard in the back of my truck, but like to hear what others are thinking....
Looking at the lake cams, there is some snow on the ice. There is probably a drift around your house, but you can bring a shovel and trailer and head to any of the shorelines as well. Hawkbill point looks like there is plenty of snow as well as around the breakwall at Hunter's.

I have heard of people using Rubber hoses on wheel house attached to the frame to seal it to the ice so there is not as much snow needed for banking I still think there is enough snow find a spot close to a drift of some sort
Yeah, Willy, you've got plenty to bank with. I just went by there a half hour ago. Anybody that's had their house out for the week has some to bank with drifted in around their house.

Steve, just bring the shovel....you have a fair amount of snow on the westside of your house.....and you are blocked up above the ice....nice job!
Oh....and the fish are biting! ..........don't tell anyone!
