I'm from the Iowa City, IA area and planning on coming up to ice fish for a long weekend.  I'm looking at staying on the ice in a fish house with bunks.  I know right now the ice isn't thick enough now but hoping in a couple weeks it will be.  Anyone suggest a good company that offers this.

First off I would go with Hunters Point,contact Justin or Scotty at Hunters Point.Don't know your budget but

there is ice fishing on Mille Lacs and there is catching fish.Also how many people,Myself coming that far

I would make my trip worth while.I would have them set you up with a package.Cabin on shore or the

hotel rooms.Then I would have them book a guide trip with the famous Tony Roach does not matter

how many people they can accomadate you.The guys is top class so dialed in he will put you on fish

you will have a great time.Fish from 7:00am til dark,come in get warm shower hit the bar for dinner

while Tony cleans all the fish.smilesmile

I agree with greenjeans. Booking Tony Roach for a guided trip will be well worth the money. Your experience will be 2nd to none.
