I use 4 or 5 depending on what the store has at the time.

The faster I'm drifting/trolling, the bigger my spinner.

Usually, the color is the biggest factor. When in doubt, I use a hammered silver with blue beads, but if that doesn't work on marked fish, don't be afraid to go back to the tackle box and change your presentation up. (longer snell, different colored beads, different colored hooks, different spinner, etc.)

By the way, I just wrote a book on how to catch walleyes.......

Chapter 1

Be in the right place, at the right time, with the right presentation.

The end.

Whadya think?

Nice novel. It must be non-fiction, EH?

Malmo Mike's new fishing novel:

1. Fish hard with spinners. Troll at 2 mph. Get bites within 30 minutes; else Rule 2.

2. If no bites, go to Hole 19 at Waypoint Cafe for walleye dinner filet. WOW is that good.

3. On Thursday nights, go to Hole 19 at Hunters Point Bingo Bongo and have acold one with walleye fingers.

4. Moral of the story: Ya just cannot beat Hole 19.

le fini. MM was here.
